About the Role

Heli-One, a global leader in helicopter maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) services, is seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, CAMO & Technical Services to lead and develop our technical services capability in Poland.

 

This is a unique leadership opportunity for a highly motivated aviation professional who thrives in a dynamic, international environment. You will play a key role in shaping our Maintenance and Technical Services Centre, leading expert teams, driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality solutions to customers worldwide.

 

As Senior Manager, CAMO & Technical Services, you will be responsible for the leadership, development, and performance of Heli-One's CAMO and Technical Services functions. You will oversee a highly skilled team, build strong relationships with regulatory authorities and customers, and ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, efficient, and customer-focused technical services.

 

This role requires a strong combination of technical expertise, commercial awareness, people leadership, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a global organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Technical Services teams to deliver regulatory compliant services associated sub contracts and service level agreements.
  • Establish effective working relationship with regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
  • Manage personnel to deliver compliant and efficient services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work closely with CHC Regional and functional management team and external customers to deliver timely and cost-effective solutions to operational fleet.
  • Establish and ensure Key performance indicators (KPI’s) are met. 
  • Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with the CAMO’s exposition (CAME) IAW EASA Part M, Part CAMO etc.
  • Manage modifications requests and technical support from a Part 21 (or equivalent) organization.
  • Perform regular performance review, set appropriate goals and objectives and provide development plans for the team.
  • Manage staffing levels, vacation and overtime to achieve the highest levels of efficiency.
  • Ensure maximum productivity is achieved through proven optimization tools/ techniques.
  • Ensure timely updates and development of AMP’s (Approved Maintenance Programs) with related improvements and planned preventative actions.
  • Form Collaborative relationships with OEM’s and vendors to ensure adequate and compliant support for the various functions and applications.
  • Accountable for Safety Management system occurrence reporting and provide resolutions to findings and identified hazards.
  • Ensure a continuous improvement process that demonstrates improvement in compliance, efficiency.
  • Ensure effective management and control of daily operations is carried out.
  • Monitor worldwide operations, analyze current activities and make recommendations that maximize the use of available resources to achieve the highest levels of performance.
  • Ensure adequate business continuity plans for the CAMO are in place & tested.
  • Ensure global best practices are implemented.
  • Maintain a collaborative partnership culture, integrated with internals customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure effective planning and long-term resource forecasts are in place & integrated in regions.
  • Ensure quality procedures are established and quality control goals are achieved.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

What We Are Looking For

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • Aviation degree, diploma, or equivalent aviation maintenance qualification.
  • Aviation Maintenance leadership experience, ideally supported by an EASA/ICAO licence.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within a CAMO, Part M, Part 145 and/or Part 21 environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of EASA regulations and continuing airworthiness requirements.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience leading large, multidisciplinary technical teams at Senior Manager level or above.
  • Minimum 3 years' demonstrated experience managing highly skilled aviation professionals, including Licensed Aircraft Engineers, Pilots, and Engineering personnel.
  • Excellent leadership, with a consultative management style and strong relationship & team building skills.
  • Experience managing teams and resources across multiple international regions and culturally diverse teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Polish including the use of aviation terminology.
  • Knowledge and practical experience of Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Proven ability to drive performance, change, and continuous improvement in a complex operational environment.

 

Desirable Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous experience as a nominated maintenance post holder (preferably EASA Part M or Part 145).
  • Experience within helicopter operations or helicopter maintenance environments.
  • Knowledge of aircraft types such as Sikorsky S-92 and Leonardo AW139.
  • Familiarity with international regulatory frameworks including FAA, TCCA, CASA, and ANAC.
  • Experience with aviation maintenance software such as AMOS, RAMCO, or similar ERP systems.
