Role Summary

Successful candidates will be responsible for managing helicopter maintenance projects from preparation of estimates and offers, through planning and design phase, into production, delivery and invoicing. Responsible for managing the project and resources to meet span time commitments, quality expectations, cost budgets and customer satisfaction. In addition responsible for identifying, building business cases and executing implementations of new projects.

Type of employment: Contract of employment (umowa o pracę)

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to operations, projects, planning and supply chain.
  • Lead the estimating process for new opportunities
  • Works with the Planner and the Department Managers to develop the project plan, resource requirements and allocation and milestone charts
  • Ensure execution of the schedule, including design, parts supply and production.
  • Monitor and direct activities of planning, purchasing and supervisors assigned to projects
  • Identify key issues that may impact project cost or schedule
  • Provide regular customer updates on project progress; hosts customers during visits and ensure acceptance crew and air crew are looked after during test period.
  • Provide regular management updates on project progress: schedule, man-hours, and cost
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities and contribute to the development of improved business processes
  • Monitor maintenance projects execution within the facility and remote sites
  • Lead implementations of new capabilities, repairs and projects.
  • Accountable with project delivery on cost
  • Responsible for RIS process approval with customer
  • Parts escalation
  • Invoicing process
  • Responsible for customer management and operations
  • Coordination of maintenance activity with Maintenance Planner, PART 145 engineering

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • A University Degree in Projects, Operations Management, Logistics, or technical discipline.
  • Fluency in Polish and English is essential
  • Ability to be an effective hands-on manager
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on safety and quality
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to envision a system wide solutions
  • Ability to lead in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
  • Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
  • Ability to manage projects effectively and meet firm deadlines
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have legal right to live and work in Poland.
