Role Summary

The CAMO Engineer is responsible for ensuring the continuing airworthiness of assigned helicopters in accordance with EASA Part-CAMO, CASA Part-42, UK CAA Part-CAMO and RBAC regulations as well as company procedures. This includes aircraft configuration control, maintenance program development, reliability data analysis, and technical support during maintenance events. The role requires coordination with clients, OEMs, and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and safe operations.

 

CAMO Engineer

Workplace: Jasionka (near Rzeszów, podkarpackie voivodship)

Type of employment: Contract of employment (umowa o pracę)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform tasks related to managing continuous airworthiness for each assigned aircraft.
  • Develop changes to the Aircraft Maintenance Programmes (AMP).
  • Check, analyse, and track airworthiness data for aircraft, engines, and equipment.
  • Control aircraft configuration.
  • Create instructions for planned maintenance for contracted maintenance organizations (job cards).
  • Respond to requests for technical support from clients or maintenance organizations.
  • Maintain communication with clients, aviation authorities, and manufacturers.
  • Ensure proactive compliance management, documenting and responding to any early warning signals regarding non-compliance.
  • Apply safety management system standards and policies in relation to CAMO activities.
  • Support aircraft induction and phase-in/phase-out activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments of global CAMO organisation (technical operations, AOCs)

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Qualifications Required:

  • Degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a CAMO (Part-CAMO or legacy Part-M) or Part 145 organization.
  • Knowledge of EASA Part-CAMO and Part-145 regulations.
  • Familiarity with aircraft maintenance programs and reliability programs methodologies.
  • Experience with maintenance tracking systems (e.g. AMOS, OASES, Trax or similar)
  • Good understanding of Human Factors and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
  • Fluent in Polish and English.

Qualifications Preferred:

  • Hands-on experience with rotary-wing aircraft (e.g., S-92, AW139, EC225, Bell 407 or similar).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Proactive mindset with a focus on safety and compliance.
