Role Summary

Heli-One Poland Sp. z o.o., based in Jasionka near Rzeszów, belongs to the international aviation corporation CHC Helicopter. Heli-One provides hangar services for CHC fleet helicopters and external customers. We overview, modify and overhaul helicopters for customers from all over the world. Our location in Poland is equipped with the highest quality tools, technical equipment and a team of qualified experts.

 

Due to the dynamic growth of our maintenance organisation, we are seeking candidates for the position of:

 

Part-145 Engineer 

Workplace: Jasionka (near Rzeszów, podkarpackie voivodship)

Type of employment: Contract of employment (umowa o pracę)

Key Responsibilities

  • Support of the maintenance area: airframe, engines, avionics, structure in the full spectrum of aircraft maintenance and overhaul topics.
  • Preparation and approval of repair worksheets, repair instructions based on approved maintenance data (includes modifications, airworthiness directives) if required.
  • Preparation and verification of work order templates (W/O) for all tasks from the SOW.
  • Completion of helicopter weighing protocols,
  • Preparation of a list of required re-torques resulting from the scope of work performed on the helicopter after maintenance (as per additional customer requirements)
  • Contacting the OEM or CAMO for non-standard issues not covered in the maintenance documentation or other contractual arrangements.
  • Analysis of modifications to a particular aircraft/aircraft equipment in service.
  • Participation in the pricing of new projects.
  • Participating in the implementation of new types of helicopters and components into service.
  • Preparing the work area for internal and external audits and actively participating in them.
  • Resolving non-conformities that arise by implementing corrective actions.
  • Complying with quality, health and safety standards and the requirements of the supervisory authorities for which the company holds approvals.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Higher technical education, preferably in aviation;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position in hangar maintenance;
  • Experience of working on OEM manuals;
  • Good knowledge of English, minimum B2 level;
  • Knowledge of PART aviation regulations;
  • Very good technical knowledge of helicopters;
  • Technical knowledge and high personal culture;
  • Knowledge of MS Office package;
  • Knowledge of computer systems: AMOS, AutoCAD, Inventor;
  • Must have the legal right to live and work in Poland.
