Role Summary

Contract Manager

workplace: Jasionka

 

This role will be instrumental in developing and implementing an innovative procurement strategies to
ensure the company’s competitive cost base, cash flow, risk management and strong partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and executing the commercial negotiating strategy for (new) helicopter purchases.
  • Manage and negotiate the additional investments (AFE’s) for Aircraft modifications and upgrades.
  • Drive and Negotiate the license contracting for the CHC MRO, ensure each license adds value.
  • Manage the execution of the Helicopter demand by leading the Category teams consisting of Category Managers,
    OEM/MRO Contracting Managers and specialists.
  • Run the organization's Category Management core business as efficiently and effectively as possible.
  • Develop the organizational capabilities that are needed for the organization to be fit for purpose and fit for the future, including resources, strategic planning, and execution.
  • Responsible for managing the OEM contracts and relations in order to reduce the cost and improving the Turn a
    round time for our Aircraft in the fleet and supported through Heli-One.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

EDUCATION:
Master degree required; Supply Chain or Business focus preferred, Engineering background
desirable


EXPERIENCE:
Extensive (min 10 yrs) experience in supply chain management positions.
Experience working in international organizations.
Preferable a background in regulated technical industries.
Strong communicator and process-oriented.
Well versed in intercultural collaboration
Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Background in Aviation and understanding Engines is a plus

Develops robust and forward-thinking procurement strategy in the areas of risk management, effective
resourcing and project management.
Exceptional interpersonal skills - Capable of developing and maintaining valuable partnerships with
internal (e.g. peers) and external stakeholders (e.g. supplier network).
Assertive – Provides strong leadership and coaching, setting clear goals and directions

Agile and Adaptable - Comfortable working in agile work environments, seamlessly switching between
strategic planning and practical execution.
• Planning & Prioritizing – Balancing competing priorities, managing agendas and resources.
• Driven on execution and results – Emphasizes accountability and a pragmatic approach combined with
a results-oriented mindset.

  Must have legal right to live and work in Poland.
