Role Summary


CHC / Heli-One has an exciting opportunity for a Category Coordinator (Buyer) within its Indirect Category Team. The Indirect Category is responsible for all categories of spend that do not attach to an aircraft, such as travel, credit card, facilities, IT, shop supplies, training, uniforms/work wear and other corporate services. This position provides a unique opportunity to support a variety of spend categories within a global organization. The Category Coordinator is responsible for assigned countries of day to day purchasing through our PO system including maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders, handling open orders and ensure a smooth efficient end to end purchasing experience.

On any given day, you could be working with colleagues and suppliers from any of our locations, which may include Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Scotland, and the US.

 

Workplace: Jasionka (near Rzeszów)

Type: Temporary, 18 Months 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support assigned areas of spend for procurement and buying through processing requisitions in Workday
  • Ensuring preferred suppliers are used, or obtaining quotes, negotiating and finding suppliers where necessary
  • Creating and maintaining supplier catalogues used for repetitive purchases to drive a more efficient process
  • Manage open order reports to ensure goods/services are being delivered and received in the system
  • Create and update various reports including procurement dashboard reports
  • Liaise with AP in processing of invoices / address invoice errors
  • Support other sourcing projects as needed or assigned
  • Collaboration and engagement with key stakeholders across CHC such as Finance, Legal, HR, Safety & Quality
  • Ensure compliance to CHC Procurement and other relevant policies
  • Other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Minimum 3 years Supply Chain / Buying experience
  • Innovation and Problem Solving, ability to think out of the box to find creative solutions
  • Strong business acumen with a high degree of professionalism
  • Ability develop strong relationships across the organization and external vendors
  • Adaptable to changing priorities
  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint & Word) and generating reports
  • Ability to demonstrate ethical conduct
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Employees must comply with and adhere to all company policies
  • May perform other duties as assigned
  • International travel may be required
  • Must have legal right to live and work in Poland.
