Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.

 

Heli-One Canada is looking for a Site Supervisor at our Gagetown, NB location.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for maintenance to airworthy standards, inspecting and releasing maintenance for contracted maintenance support.

  • Provide diligent oversight of all maintenance work packages for assigned aircraft, ensuring strict adherence to planned versus actual hours.
  • Supervises assigned aircraft maintenance employees.
  • Encourage and promote a safe work environment by supervising a safety/security program, which includes operation of support equipment, aircraft systems, general housekeeping.
  • Ensure that regular established safety/security audits are conducted, and discrepancies are addressed.
  • Perform supervisory responsibilities for assigned employees
  • Interact with customers daily, facilitating communication, coordination, and follow-up on progress updates, customer approvals, work package debriefs, and issue resolutions.
  • Execute and maintain schedule through aircraft delivery and follow-up.
  • Monitor and oversee workflow to ensure work package is on schedule and within budget, including shop floor efficiency.
  • Support all teams in returning aircraft to service after maintenance.
  • Embrace and excel in any other duties as required to elevate our mission.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Valid Transport Canada AME license (or military equivalent)
  • Previous people management experience preferred
  • Must have hands-on experience working on B412/212 or CH-146 aircraft.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex systems and logically solve problems
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to deal with multiple concurrent requirements, ambiguity and demanding situations
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to process complex systems and logically
  • Demonstrate a results-oriented approach with a strong focus on quality.
  • Thrive in environments necessitating the conduct of the airworthiness function IAW TCCA Airworthiness Manual (AWM)
  • Legally able to live and work in Canada
  • Willing to live in or near Gagetown, NB
