Role Summary

Airworthiness Engineer

Join our team as an Airworthiness Engineer and play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of our helicopter operations. Key Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out technical reviews, evaluations, and assess the applicability of received technical publications affecting helicopter operations; provide recommendations to the type engineers.
  • File created or received technical publications.
  • Participate in preparing maintenance program review reports.
  • Liaise with Type Certificate holders on technical issues.
  • Support and contribute to the EASA Part 21 Design Organisation during modification/repair proposals, compilation, and approval.
  • Compile and control configuration lists, including AMOS reference trees, for all designated aircraft.
  • Create and approve Maintenance Accomplishment Records.
  • Create and register new part numbers in AMOS.
  • Monitor trends from oil sample SOAP analysis and hydraulic fluid patch tests; advise the Maintenance Organisation on appropriate actions.
  • Maintain Mass & Balance reports.
  • Conduct aircraft surveys on new or used aircraft to ensure compliance with regulatory and AOC requirements for customer operations.
  • Check, update, and correct documentation used by the Technical Services Department and Part-145 organization.
  • Clearly mark non-current documentation still used for reference.
  • Support and work with Type Engineers as required and guided.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering or equivalent experience in aviation maintenance.
  • Experience in aerospace engineering, preferably in a supporting role to aircraft operators.
  • Familiarity with maintenance programs for aircraft.

Skills:

  • Proficient in English (written and spoken).
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications.
  • Ability to work in a structured and secure manner.
  • Capable of preparing and writing clear reports.
  • Flexible attitude with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Access rights to AMOS.
  • Knowledge of relevant aircraft types through formal training equivalent to Part-66 Appendix III Level 1 General Familiarization.
