Heli-One is the leader in rotor wing maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) with decades of expertise supporting a wide range of helicopters. Our global support network includes base maintenance; line maintenance; component and engine repair and overhaul; and Engineering and Design within our 500,000 square feet of international facilities in Vancouver, Canada; Stavanger, Norway; and Rzeszow, Poland.

 

Exciting opportunity to join Heli-One Canada as a Supervisor, Component Workshop at their Delta facility. You will play a critical role in overseeing and coordinating the MRO processes within our production facility. Your responsibilities include ensuring production targets are met efficiently while adhering to regulatory requirements, health and safety standards, and company policies. As the Production Supervisor, you will lead and motivate the production team, monitor workflow, troubleshoot issues, provide technical guidance, and drive process improvements for enhanced productivity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and orchestrate the daily production activities to hit our production schedules and targets.
  • Directly manage and provide guidance to production staff, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
  • Keep a vigilant eye on safety procedures to create a workplace where safety is our middle name!
  • Maintain quality control standards by implementing quality assurance procedures and conducting regular inspections.
  • Oversee the use of production equipment and machinery, ensuring proper operation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Identify and resolve production problems in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruptions.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Customer Support, Supply Chain, and Engineering to optimize production processes and resolve issues.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
  • Provide support on project BOMs to ensure that the correct material demands are in place base on the planned scope of work.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, communication, and employee engagement.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Two years of formal post-secondary training in a technical or logistical field or equivalent experience
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of TCCA and other aviation regulatory authorities’ regulations
  • Previous experience in a MRO production environment
  • Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
  • Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities
  • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication
  • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills
  • Thrives like a superhero in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
