Role Summary

Heli-One as part of the CHC Helicopter is searching for a successful candidate that will join our Global corporate tax team. 

This position reports to the European Senior Tax Manager and includes assistance with CIT tax compliance, local and global tax reporting and tax planning functions of CHC in Poland and other CHC operating jurisdictions. This is an exciting role to join an experienced tax team and gain exposure to international tax and transfer pricing.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with preparation and filing of CIT compliance work.
  • Co-ordinate with other teams within Finance to gather data and support for tax filings.
  • Assist with quarterly tax provision and year-end reporting for group and local statutory reporting.
  • Maintain and update models used for corporate tax reporting.
  • Assist with preparation and review of monthly VAT filings.
  • Assist with relevant tax office audits.
  • Assist with Transfer Pricing local file preparation.
  • Ensures compliance with internal control policies on tax related matters.
  • Other ad-hoc duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills & Attributes

  • Experience: 2-3 years of corporate tax (CIT) experience. Broader European or US tax experience preferred.
  • University degree in related field, professional accounting designation preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, English required (min. B2)
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Excel skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with time-sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent organization skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build and maintain good relationships with partners and related internal/external groups.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Must have legal right to live and work in Poland.
